SURFATA® PL 212 acts on the colloidal stability of polymer particles and can be used in the polymerization processes of vinyl acetates, acrylic copolymers and homopolymers, styrene-acrylics, and styrene-butadiene.
It helps reduce particle size and increase mechanical strength, water resistance, and chemical stability. It is APE-free and, depending on the formulation, can be used as the sole emulsifier in the system.
