SURFATA DISPERSE® 5 acts by deflocculating and stabilizing pigments through steric hindrance, helping to reduce dispersion time and viscosity while improving gloss, opacity, and tinting strength. It is suitable for various segments of paints and inorganic pigment concentrates.
For optimal performance, it should be incorporated into the resin/solvent before milling. Technical literature suggests dosages of 2% to 8% for titanium dioxide and 5% to 10% for inorganic pigments.
